New London Utilities is now taking applications for an electric lineman apprentice until 11:30am on August 30, 2024.
This is skilled, technical work in the construction, repair and maintenance of the electric distribution system including overhead and underground electric systems. This position requires working knowledge of electrical principles and the ability to apply them to construction, repair, and troubleshooting responsibilities. Employees frequently work with high voltage wires and under unfavorable weather conditions.
